Owen first got hooked on the house scene way back in ‘87 and, although he loved the harsh electronic sounds of Acid House, his real love was for deep house classics such as Joe Smooth’s “I Try”, Paris’s “Learn To Love” and Larry Heard’s “Mystery Of Love”. These tracks became the blueprint for the sounds he has been spinning over the last 20 years.

Owen started his Djing career in 1991 when he was eventually persuaded by Centerforce’s Babyface (Terry White R.I.P.) to get on the decks and start spinning. Dates at underground clubs around East London quickly followed and he was up and running.

His big break came in 1992, when he was spotted Djing at a party by the legendry Sunday Scene promoters “Happy Dayz” who immediately offered him a spot at their gig at the Curtain Road Warehouse. This was promptly followed by residencies at the Gass Club and the Arches where Owen was instrumental in championing the US garage sound of the mid 90s alongside Matt Jam Lamont, Karl ‘Tuff Enuff’ Brown and Dominic Speadlove. His ability and uncompromising attitude eventually led to his being given spots at London’s Ministry of Sound and “Passion” at the Emporium, Coalville, to name but a few.

In the summer of 1995, he was employed by Club UK for their tour of Ibiza and spent 5 months spinning the US Garage sound, securing residencies at the Kanya Bar, and super clubs Space and Amnesia as well as various guest spots on the Island. Owen also produced tracks for well established labels including Azuli and Champion Records.

During the early noughties, Owen played regularly for Ministry Of Sound’s “Rulin” night and held residences at the Opium Lounge and Pacific Edge as well as various guest slots in and around his home county of Essex.

Lindz started spinning at the age of 16 on a pair of belt-driven Technics. He was a huge fan of Drum & Bass legend DJ Hype and the House/Techno DJ Carl Cox. It was these 2 greats that brought his attention to deep basslines, harmonic vocals and stretched-out strings that gave him a burning desire and passion to becoming a DJ. Being a regular clubber, Lindz was always interested in watching the DJ perform in entertaining the crowd and eventually he taught himself to mix.
Starting out playing Jungle, Drum N Bass & Hardcore Lindz loved the music which rocked the raves of World Dance, Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, and Slammin Vinyl . It was these events that really cemented the elements of playing for the crowd.

In 1999, Lindz got a full residency at the Guildhall University in London and also began playing regular parties around the bars of East London, mainly Shoreditch and Old Street. Lindz was also regularly booked for parties around the country. It was at this time he started experimenting with the UK and US Garage sound (Tuff Jam, Todd Edwards, MAW, Byron Stingly, Darryl D'Bonneau & Todd Terry). In 2002 Lindz was put forward for the Juice DJ Competition and made into last round.

Continuing his love for global dance music and after a chance meeting in early 2008, Lindz met Owen, and together they rekindled their passion for the house music scene.

A few months on saw the creation of 2 Good Souls, and the rest, as they say is history....
